We have include some items for you to consider when you are choosing your primary care giver.

Initial Considerations

Consider how far you are willing to travel for your medical appointments and compile a list of doctors who operate within that area. Check if there is an out of hours service within that area and how it operates.

Draw up a short list

Draw up a short-list of doctors from your original list. Some things to consider are
  • Is there parking available, or are there public transport links close by.
  • How suitable is the practice location for children. How comfortable are you with the location.
  • The doctors level of qualification and experience.
  • Talk to other parents and find out if they would recommend anyone
